Why the Christians used pelican as the symbol of Our saviour Jesus Christ?

Image
The symbolism of the mother pelican feeding her little baby pelicans is rooted in an ancient legend which preceded Christianity. The legend was that in time of famine, the mother pelican wounded herself, striking her breast with the beak to feed her young with her blood to prevent starvation. Another version of the legend was that the mother fed her dying young with her blood to revive them from death, but in turn lost her own life. Given this tradition, one can easily see why the early Christians adapted it to symbolize our Lord, Jesus Christ. The pelican symbolizes Jesus our Redeemer who gave His life for our redemption and the atonement He made through His passion and death. We were dead to sin and have found new life through the Blood of Christ. Moreover, Jesus continues to feed us with His body and blood in the holy Eucharist. This tradition and others is found in the Physiologus, an early Christian work which appeared in the second century in Alexandria, Egypt. Written by an anon

The Freemasonry and counterfeit Christians.

Image
What is Freemasonry? For nearly two centuries the world has been confronted with a new and terrible phenomenon of which there is no complete parallel in any other period of history. Some style it Liberalism; others the anti-Christian movement; and others again prefer the more striking and dramatic name of The Revolution. The Modern Revolution. Different from all former political, social or religious innovations which were local, or confined to certain sections of the community, the modern Revolution is universal. In spite of differences of race, of climate, of economic position, it is everywhere essentially the same - restless, disruptive, materialistic, anti-patriotic and irreligious. It permeates all classes with ideas and principles which, while incompatible with real prosperity or peace, inspire its dupes with an unfounded hope of securing all they desire by means of destruction. Its Anti-Christian Character. A persistent war is waged directly or indirectly against the virtues and

People must understand this about the Antichrist.

Image
Our spiritual foe is nowdays in sheep clothed . From the Bible , the Church teaches that before Jesus’ second coming, the Antichrist will come to lead souls astray. As the Church reflects on the second coming of Jesus Christ during the final weeks of Ordinary Time and into the first few weeks of Advent, the topic of the “Antichrist” will inevitably come to the surface. It is a teaching of the Catholic Church that is highly mysterious, and biblical references do not shed much light on the situation. Yet, the Church has an official teaching on the Antichrist, explained in detail in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. A final deception Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the “mystery of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme

The Doctrine of Three Essential Parts of Human Nature (Body, Soul and Spirit) is HERETICAL!

When observing most of  Protestants preach that there are three essential parts in human nature such as body, soul and spirit. They treat soul and spirit are different in humanity as they understood 1st Thessalonians Chapter 5 verse 23.  The others treat those three as Trinitarian implication as the same as the implication of three essential parts of human nature. The three persons of the Trinity treated as comparison to three essential parts. As far as Catholic teachings was concern, this is how we must understand the essential parts of our human nature. According to Catechism of the Catholic Church no. 362-366; *The human person, created in the image of God, is a being at once CORPOREAL(material) and SPIRITUAL. The biblical account expresses this reality in symbolic language when it affirms that "then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being." Man, whole and entire, is therefore willed

Theological virtues and its importances.

Daniel paschal. GOD’S WORD “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1) HEROES’ WORDS “To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.” -Attributed to St. Thomas Aquinas MEDITATION The theological virtues are the foundation of Christian moral activity; they animate it and give it its special character. They inform and give life to all the moral virtues. They are infused by God into the souls of the faithful to make them capable of acting as his children and of meriting eternal life. They are the pledge of the presence and action of the Holy Spirit in the faculties of the human being. There are three theological virtues: faith, hope, and charity (CCC 1813). Faith is the theological virtue by which we believe in God and believe all that he has said and revealed to us, and that Holy Church proposes for our belief, because he is truth itself. By faith “man freely commits his entire se
